·?Founded in 1899, HZHS the oldest school in Zhejiang

·?AP program was first accredited in?2014.

·?Hosted the mainland Chinese College Board?AP Teacher Workshop in August of?2018.

CURRICULUM AND ACCREDITATION

·?Admission is 50% based on a student’s Chinese Zhongkao score, and 50% on a staff-administered entrance exam with equal parts English, math, and science. About 80% of students are admitted into the school, and all are placed on an academic?track.

·?English is the medium for instruction for all AP?and Honors Courses.

·?On average, G10 students take 2 AP courses, G11 students take 3 AP courses, and G12 students take?4 AP?courses.

·?To graduate from HZHSID, students must achieve a passing grade of ‘D’ in at least 10 courses for the Chinese Zhejiang Xuekao?Curriculum.

·?The HZHSID Transcript is a bilingual document signed by the Academic Principal and stamped?by the?school.
